Comparison
DealSource Systems vs Konverrt.
DealSource Systems wrote this page and DealSource Systems is one of the firms on it. That belongs in the first line, not in a footnote. Of every firm on this hub, Konverrt sells the thing closest to what we sell, which makes this the most useful comparison here and the one where we have the least room to be vague. Every Konverrt claim below was read off konverrt.com on 22 September 2026 and is quoted, not summarised.
Who each one is for
Konverrt states its core plainly: "Our core is lower-middle-market M&A advisory and sell-side origination, plus lower-middle-market PE and independent sponsors. We also run outreach systems for B2B SaaS and services firms." The natural fit is a sell-side advisory firm that wants seller meetings on the calendar and wants the vendor to carry the risk until the first two land.
DealSource Systems fits a fund, advisor or bank that wants a standing origination function against one or two theses, buy side or sell side, with the price published before the first call and the method published behind it.
What Konverrt actually does
The offer is built around risk transfer. The homepage headline reads "Your first 2 qualified seller meetings, before your first invoice", and the promise is repeated as "No invoice until your first two qualified meetings are on the calendar." What counts is agreed first: "Before launch, we agree your mandate criteria in writing: deal size band, industry, owner intent threshold. Meetings that don't meet the bar don't count."
They are explicit that this is not a volume guarantee. Their own FAQ: "We don't promise meeting volume. What we do instead is structure the pilot so the risk sits with us."
Two structural commitments are unusual in this category. The first is exclusivity: "One firm per vertical", so "Your campaigns never compete with another client's for the same sellers." The second is that your own domain stays out of it: "Your firm's domain never touches outreach. Ever." Pilots run on their pre-warmed infrastructure and a dedicated environment is built when a pilot converts.
Scale and outcome claims from their own pages: "2.1M+ EMAILS SENT, ZERO DOMAINS BURNED", "640+ QUALIFIED MEETINGS ORIGINATED", "$3.5M+ PIPELINE ORIGINATED" and "50+ FIRMS RUNNING ON KONVERRT". Two sell-side engagements are published with numbers: one shows "27 QUALIFIED SELLER MEETINGS / 90 DAYS", "80% MET DEAL CRITERIA", "5 LOIS SIGNED" and "3 TRANSACTIONS CLOSED"; the other shows "16,000+ EMAILS TO 8,500 OWNER-OPERATORS", a "3.3% REPLY RATE" and a "$19M+ MANUFACTURER DIVESTITURE IN MOTION".
On price they publish a signal rather than a number: "Pilots start with no invoice until your first two qualified meetings land. After that, most M&A engagements run a few thousand dollars a month, scaled to the size of your sending program." The minimum is stated: "We work in 90-day pilots. That's the honest minimum for warm-up plus enough live sending to read real signal. No long-term lock-in beyond that." And on ownership of the work: "It's yours. Lists, replies, the 'not now' pipeline with follow-up timelines, campaign learnings" all transfer if you stop.
What we do
DealSource Systems runs origination as a standing function for private equity funds, M&A advisors, boutique investment banks and search funds. AI maps the market against your thesis, scores readiness signals on each company and drafts the approach. Then operators with deal experience review every message before an owner sees it and handle the replies, including the ones that need a real answer about structure or timing.
Pricing is on the site rather than behind a call: from $4,000 a month for a single thesis, $8,000 and above for a dedicated multi-thesis mandate, no success fee, 90-day minimum term. The engagement we publish in full is Merritt Healthcare Advisors, a healthcare investment bank: 14 qualified founder conversations in the first three weeks, 133 inside 90 days. We are part of Danish Lead Co.

Where Konverrt is stronger than us
The risk sits with them until meetings land. No invoice until the first two qualified meetings are on the calendar, with the definition agreed in writing beforehand. We do not offer that. We charge from the start of the mandate, and if the first month produces nothing you have still paid for it. If you have been burned by a vendor before, their structure answers that fear better than ours does.
Exclusivity. "One firm per vertical" is a real commitment that we do not make. If you care that the firm across the street cannot buy the same owner coverage, that is a reason to choose them.
More published closed-deal outcomes. They publish "5 LOIS SIGNED" and "3 TRANSACTIONS CLOSED" on one engagement. Our published engagement reports conversations, not closings. On evidence of deals actually getting done, they are ahead of us today.
Faster to first send. "First campaigns go live in days" on pre-warmed infrastructure, against our first approved messages inside the first two weeks.
Where we are stronger
The price is published. Ours is on the site: from $4,000 a month, $8,000 and above for a dedicated multi-thesis mandate, no success fee. "A few thousand dollars a month, scaled to the size of your sending program" is an honest signal, but it is still a range you have to resolve on a call.
The method is published, with the numbers behind it. We publish what 1.7 million outreach emails to business owners actually produced, including the unflattering parts: the median campaign gets three positive replies in its first 60 days and about one in seven gets none. You can read our benchmarks before you speak to us and hold us to them.
Buy side as well as sell side. Their core is sell-side origination and seller meetings. We run thesis-driven buy-side coverage for funds and acquirers as the same standing function.
You can always buy it. One firm per vertical is a genuine benefit until your vertical is taken, at which point the answer is no. We have no such lock.
When to choose Konverrt over us
Choose Konverrt if you are a sell-side advisory firm whose main worry is paying for another vendor that delivers nothing, and their pilot structure answers that directly. Choose them if exclusivity in your vertical matters, if the vertical is still open, or if you want evidence of signed LOIs and closed transactions rather than conversations.
When to choose us over Konverrt
Choose us if you want the price before the call rather than a range resolved on it, if your mandate is buy side or thesis driven rather than winning sell-side mandates, if you want the measured method published so you can audit the claims, or if your vertical is already taken at a firm that only takes one client in it.
How we checked this
Read on 22 September 2026: konverrt.com for the offer, the fee and minimum-term language, the exclusivity and infrastructure commitments, the published engagement numbers and the FAQ answers on cost, guarantees, ownership of data and who does the work. Every Konverrt line above is quoted from that page rather than paraphrased. Our own figures come from our published engagement, our stated pricing and our published benchmarks. Konverrt publishes no third-party audit of its numbers and neither do we, so both sets are self-reported and should be treated that way.
Common questions
How much does Konverrt cost?
They publish a range rather than a price: "most M&A engagements run a few thousand dollars a month, scaled to the size of your sending program", after a pilot that is not invoiced until the first two qualified meetings land. We publish ours: from $4,000 a month, and $8,000 and above for a dedicated multi-thesis mandate.
Is the no-invoice-until-two-meetings promise a guarantee?
They say plainly that it is not a volume guarantee: "We don't promise meeting volume. What we do instead is structure the pilot so the risk sits with us: no invoice until your first two qualified meetings are on your calendar." What counts as qualified is agreed in writing before launch, which is the part that makes it meaningful.
Will Konverrt work with a firm that competes with us?
They say no, within a vertical: "One firm per vertical", so "Your campaigns never compete with another client's for the same sellers." The flip side is that if another firm already holds your vertical, you cannot buy it at all. We make no exclusivity promise and have no such lock.
What is the biggest difference between the two firms?
Where the risk sits at the start, and what each firm publishes. They carry the risk until two qualified meetings land but publish a price range rather than a price. We charge from the start of the mandate but publish the price, and publish the measured data behind the method so you can check it before you buy.
Who owns the lists and replies if the engagement ends?
Both firms say you do. Konverrt: "It's yours. Lists, replies, the 'not now' pipeline with follow-up timelines, campaign learnings" all transfer. Ours is stated in the contract before signing. This is worth getting in writing with any firm in this category, because not all of them will.
